The presidents of the New England Small College Athletic Conference reached an agreement to hold condensed lacrosse seasons this spring, the league announced Tuesday evening.
The league, which counts among its 11 members some of the top Division 3 men’s and women’s programs in the country, added that spring conference competition will take place in a sport only if there is the minimum number of NESCAC teams (six) that sponsor play.
“Due to variations in local conditions, institutional policies and state travel restrictions, each institution will make its own determination whether to participate,” the league stated.
