Naptown Challenge provides big challenge, opportunity

Goalkeeper Teagan Alexander and his Central Kings 2020 team will be competing this week at the Naptown Challenge.

One of the most prestigious club lacrosse tournaments of the summer, the Naptown Challenge, will take place in Annapolis, Md., starting Monday and running through Wednesday.

When it comes to the level of competition and the amount of top-level coaches from around the country, there are few events that match Naptown's caliber.

We will be heading down to take in the festivities, so we spoke to Chris Shaw — who will be leading his Central Kings Lacrosse 2020 group coming off a win over Laxachusetts Black at the Legacy tournament in Devens last weekend — to get a few thoughts on what the experience will be like.
