ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- This time, it was the Cannons who were caught from behind.
Boston and the Connecticut Hammerheads sport identical 2-2 records with one game left in the Major League Lacrosse regular season, after the Cannons saw their three-goal halftime lead evaporate in an 11-8 loss at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium on Thursday night.
The Cannons, who won two games earlier in the week in come-from-behind fashion, conclude the weeklong regular season with a game against first-place Denver (4-0) on Friday night. The Hammerheads play second-place Chesapeake (3-1).
