It all started to change during the Under Armor All-America Tournament.
That event, which took place from July 9-12 in Baltimore, drastically altered the recruitment for both Michael Tracanna (Westford, Mass.) and Matt Licata (Sandown, N.H.), two members of the New Hampshire Tomahawks club program.
According to each, that is when Villanova began to show major interest in the class of 2020 players. Tracanna, who plays at Phillips Andover, was committed to Holy Cross at the time. Licata, at Timberlane (N.H) High School, had given his verbal to Utah.
