Michael Kraus (New Canaan, Conn.) drove all the way from Virginia to Connecticut, and back, before he learned he was coming home to stay.
The New Canaan High School alumnus said he returned to Connecticut soon after the coronavirus health crisis canceled the University of Virginia lacrosse team’s season on March 13. But after a couple of weeks with dear old mom and dad in the childhood home, he decided to head back to Charlottesville to wait out the rest of the quarantine with college friends.
He said it was there where they gathered in their living room on May 4 to watch the Major League Lacrosse collegiate draft.
