Michael Brown, Nick Washuta among latest to sign MLL deals

Nick Washuta, who established himself as one of the best goalies in the country during his four seasons at the University of Vermont, became the region’s latest player to sign a Major League Lacrosse deal when he signed with the Denver Outlaws on Wednesday.

Another busy signing week saw the Connecticut Hammerheads sign two of their draft picks from the region -- Michael Brown (Wilton, Conn.) of Brown and Will Renz of Yale -- and Boston University’s Chase Levesque (Ridgefield, Conn.) sign with the defending champion Chesapeake Bayhawks.
