In 2022, the MIAA added a fourth division to boys lacrosse, moving teams up and down from their previous homes in Divisions 1 through 3.
The MIAA kept these divisions intact for the 2022 and '23 seasons, but for this upcoming season it has shaken things up. No division is being added or removed, but realignment has occurred.
That means different teams moving into different divisions, and perhaps different favorites once state tournaments get under way.
