WORCESTER, Mass. --  Longmeadow and Billerica seemed destined to meet in the Division 2 final. When they finally collided it produced one of the most exciting back-and-forth title games in recent memory.

Of course, even a classic game has to have a winner and this one fell to the Lancers.

Longmeadow won the game thanks to a goal from star attack Coleson Hanrahan capped an incredible game by flashing to the far pipe and converting a pinpoint accurate pass from Domenic Veratti on the first possession in double-overtime to win, 9-8.

That ended what had been a game filled with momentum swings and spectacular plays.
