The MIAA playoff brackets have been whittling themselves down the past couple weeks.
While the upcoming rounds will feature some fascinating matches in Division 2 -- one quarterfinal, in particular, is quite spicy -- the end is in sight for all eight teams still in the hunt.
There are still some teams that have a chance to pull off an upset even though the first rounds of games are often strongly skewed in favor of the higher seeds. However, the weekend will cull another quartet from the herd.
Here are three teams that are poised to make a run for the MIAA D-2 championship.
