No major upsets occurred in the first round of the MIAA Division I lacrosse playoffs. But that is not to say there was nothing to take away.
With top-seeded St. John's Prep's 14-3 win over Barnstable on Tuesday, the round of 16 is set. Only two lower-seeded teams won in the round of 32, and those upsets were mild, at best.
