Merrimack aims to exit Division 2 with a bang

By Jonathan SigalMay 22, 2019

Merrimack, having made the last three national title games in Division 2, is no stranger to this stage.

But the Warriors (16-3), defending champions who now await a matchup with Limestone on Sunday, know that what comes next looks different this go-around. Next season, head coach Mike Morgan’s team will vault up to Division 1, then wait four years before again becoming eligible for the NCAA tournament.

For every player on Merrimack’s current roster, this will be their last chance to win a national championship. The urgency, therefore, is palpable.
