Merrimack advances to semis behind Thomas

By Marisa IngemiMay 12, 2018

NORTH ANDOVER -- Before NYIT knew what was happening, Christian Thomas was on his way to a career afternoon.

With three goals in a three minute span, the freshman out of Wrentham, Massachusetts gave the Warriors early control. He went on to obliterate his previous career high by scoring six goals, sending Merrimack to the Division 2 semifinals with a 24-6 win.

Thomas went without a goal when they faced Saint Anselm in the NE-10 championship, but he did tally five points in the conference semifinal against Adelphi.
