The Towson Tigers have won three of their last four games, the sole loss being just a one-goal heartbreaker to Delaware. They are currently alone atop the CAA standings with a 3-1 conference record.
One reason is Matt Constantinides (New Fairfield, Conn.), who has helped drive the Tigers’ recent success from the faceoff spot. Over Towson’s last four games, all CAA matchups, Constantinides is 57-of-99, or 58 percent facing off, and has an assist.
The most recent contest was a bit more special, as it was a local game for Constantinides. He had another strong showing in front of hometown fans as Towson defeated Fairfield, 12-8, on Saturday.
“I had a lot of family here. I actually played a semifinal game here in high school, so it’s nice to be back home,” said Constantinides.
