Loyola bound, Luke Murphy’s game is forged by family, flair

Luke Murphy is the fourth brother in his family and the third to come through the program at Medfield (Mass.) High School on his way to Division 1 college lacrosse.

Will, the oldest, played at Holy Cross after transferring from Skidmore, playing well enough as a defender/LSM to get named a captain as a senior in 2019.

Owen and Luke went the other way, developing their craft as offensive players. Owen entered Johns Hopkins last year as the No. 12-rated attackman in his class by Inside Lacrosse, after honing his game for two years at Avon Old Farms.
