Going through Hanover (Mass.) High School, where they were four-year teammates on the lacrosse, basketball and soccer teams, Sydney Lambert and Marissa Nimeskern were both looking for colleges that offered nursing programs. They found the right fit at Westfield State, where they’ve been major catalysts in getting a perennial contender in the MASCAC over the top, and now have it — as the defending league champion — back in first place and entrenched as the team to beat.
