Liam McCarthy verbally commits to Saint Anselm: “I felt valued”

The recruiting process can often go through fits and starts, dragging out in frustrating ways.

At times, that is how it was for BC High Class of 2020 defenseman Liam McCarthy. But after the Elite 100 showcase earlier this August at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass., things began to clear up for him.

"I really had nothing going all summer," McCarthy said. "Then, coach Sean Morris from Laxachusetts, he texted me a week before the event, and he's like, 'You should go to Elite 100, especially if you don't have any offers.'
