Lasting Legacy: What matters to Harvard star Keeley MacAfee

As a first-year head coach at Harvard, Devon Wills knows the Ivy League well. During a stellar four-year career at Dartmouth, she was named a three-time All-American and helped the Big Green to four NCAA tournaments.

So Wills, the U.S. national team’s goalie for over a decade, knows a thing or two about what Keeley MacAfee (Needham, Mass.) experiences on a daily basis.

“It kind of reminds me of myself a little bit when I was in college,” Wills said. “You have so much other stuff going on at these Ivy League schools, but she has lacrosse on her brain 24/7, all in a good way. She'll do whatever it takes to put the team in the right place.”
