The Lakes Region prep schools have always offered a different experience for student-athletes than their greater Boston counterparts.
Once known most for producing great hockey and basketball players and teams, the Lakes Region League has been on the rise in the boys lacrosse scene in recent years.
Holderness and New Hampton are still holding on to their places as the teams to beat going into the 2024 season, but the overall improvement of the league means that dominance is not guaranteed.
Teams like St. Paul’s and Brewster will be looking to make the jump up that they just missed last spring with some new recruits and a reignited fire.
