LAKE PLACID, N. Y. -- It’s the first week in August, so the time to perform for college coaches is over. Still, the Lake Placid Lacrosse Tournament offers a one-of-a-kind venue and experience for high-level players at the scholastic and adult levels.
It’s one last chance to play with your club or travel teammates to cap the summer. It’s a fun tournament no matter how old you are.
One of the top teams in New England fielded a squad chock full of their best players. Their record on the first day of competition was not indicative of their overall talent level.
