t's not that often two sports have such a close relationship with each other. In Canada, there certainly is a parallel between lacrosse and hockey, with athletes playing indoor lacrosse in the summer during the hockey offseason.
In the States, though, the strong connection is between field lacrosse and football.
New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan is one of the most famous examples of that crossover in these parts. The former Penn State star captured the hearts of lacrosse fans with his now famous "Chris Hogan, Penn State Lacrosse" intro on "Sunday Night Football."
