Many people refer to this time of year as the second recruiting season.
They’re wrong. It’s box lacrosse season.
Box lacrosse -- or "indoor," if you're extra-American -- has swiftly become a key part of cross-training for players across the region. It helps to build stick skills within a confined space, helps develop decision-making and also aids in offseason conditioning.
In short, if you’re not playing box lacrosse to get ready for your season, then you risk entering the spring behind your teammates who chose to live the "boxla" life.
