Kennedy Everson latest standout goalie with a Duke destination

Phillips Academy Andover senior Kennedy Everson has always had the physical talents to excel as a goalie.

It’s the leaps and bounds she’s made mentally that has impressed her head coach. Heidi Wall recalls a game during Everson’s freshman year where both of Andover’s backup goalies were injured. Even though she had been starting all season, not having that safety net affected her confidence, and she struggled as a result.

Fast forward three years, and Everson now has the ability to stay calm when things don’t go her way.
