Junior talent in Founders League doesn’t just belong to Taft

If getting juniors committed to Division 1 programs was a race in the Founders League, the comfortable lead would belong to Taft School.

Since Sept. 1, seven juniors from Taft have made their college commitments, six of them to Ivy League programs and one to Army-West Point.

“This is a very strong class for us,” said coach Nic Bell.

With more than 70 juniors from the region already committed, Taft may lead the way, but the Rhinos are not alone in their league. Seven of the nine boys teams in the Founders League have had juniors make D-1 commitments.
