The first college commitment from the 2024 class in New England is John Paul “JP” Guinee.
The rising junior at Holderness has committed to the admissions process at West Point. The service academies -- Navy, Air Force and Army -- can commit rising juniors slightly earlier than the Sept. 1 opening that has been established since 2017.
Guinee, a dynamic two-handed scorer has spent the last two seasons as an integral part of the offense at Holderness.
He’s also been scoring goals in buckets for the Laxachusetts '24 squad this summer.
