Jim Nagle’s last game as the interim coach at Connecticut College was unlike any other he’s been a part of.
On the morning of March 11, he got word from administrators that the remainder of the Camels’ season was going to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, including the next game, against nationally-ranked Wesleyan.
So Nagle ran one last intrasquad scrimmage, a full one that got all players involved heavily and ended right around noon.
Shortly after, he took a call from Wesleyan coach John Raba. Would his team be willing to squeeze in their game that night instead?
