Everything was falling into place for Erin Sullivan as she passed the midpoint of her junior year.
A standout lacrosse and soccer player at Medfield (Mass.) High School who’d had the Ivy League on her radar for years, she was encouraged to attend a camp last December at the University of Pennsylvania.
The program’s coaches, including head coach Karin Corbett, pulled her aside during the handshake line and talked about how impressed they were with her game. She and her family went down for an official visit on Jan. 23 and she realized Penn was the place for her.
“People always tell you there will be a school that will click for you. You’ll just have that moment,” said Sullivan. “That’s what it was for me.”
