When the girls lacrosse team at Noble and Greenough was edged by Sacred Heart-Greenwich in late March, it marked its first loss since 2019.
Make no mistake, though, there is a clear team to beat as a new season begins in the Independent School League, and -- without a doubt -- it’s Nobles.
The first week of April means that all 13 of the league’s teams are officially back in action. The team that produces the best record in its league games will be crowned ISL champion in May.
