In the NESCAC, teams facing ‘different types of challenges’

This figured to be a pretty significant week for the Tufts University men’s lacrosse team.

Annually one of the top teams not just in the New England Small College Athletic Conference, but also in all of Division 3, the Jumbos would have received their NCAA tournament road map on Monday and likely be preparing to host a game.

Instead, like the league’s other 10 men’s programs, their players are away from campus, their coaches are doing their recruiting virtually, some of the senior stars could be in new uniforms next season and nobody knows when those situations will change.
