When you look at the numbers that Kiara Tangney puts up, it’s clear that she is a multifaceted contributor to the Wesleyan lacrosse team.
Last spring, the star midfielder tallied 30 points on 21 goals and nine assists. She also added 30 caused turnovers, 38 groundballs and 48 draw controls.
And, yet, the numbers don’t do justice to just how much of an impact she has on any given game.
“She’s one of the most tough, hard-working and resilient players that I’ve had the opportunity to coach,” said Wesleyan coach Kim Williams.
