Like an attacker sprinting undefended upfield, the junior class of girls players from New Hampshire has been building momentum for a while now.
As the calendar gets ready to flip, 11 juniors from the state have already committed to Division 1 programs. Four of those players come from perennial power Bishop Guertin, which has won three of the last five Division 1 championships.
And, of those four juniors, three of them -- Rylee Bouvier, Natalie Coutu and Delaney Ramalho -- got their start in the same small-town youth program in Hollis-Brookline when they were in elementary school.
As points of origin go, it was a good one.
