While many of the region’s prep school teams were kept off the field by the pandemic last fall, and others limited their action to practices, the teams in Lakes Region League got to play a handful of games.
Made up of eight schools largely clustered around Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, the league is gaining a reputation for producing and developing strong teams and players.
“I like to think of the Lakes Region League as the best-kept lacrosse secret in the region,” said Brewster Academy coach Melissa Lawlor.
One thing that’s not a secret this spring is that St. Paul’s, once again, is clearly the team to beat.
