The Babson College men left for a game at Bowdoin on March 11, hopeful that the season would carry on in the face of the quickly changing world around them, but by the bus ride back to Babson Park, Mass., the writing was clearly on the wall.
“We got on the bus excited to play Bowdoin; we knew our schedule was still in play,” explained second-year head coach Rocky Batty. “The game ended and by the time we got back to campus we met in the locker room and I said, ‘Hey guys, you tell me what’s changed in the last six hours since we’ve left campus. You’ve all been on your phones.’"
