Sean Quirk spent Tuesday afternoon plowing through the messages that kept popping up on his phone.
“I’ve got about 95 text messages I’m trying to reply back to,” he said.
With good reason.
The Premier Lacrosse League announced Tuesday that Quirk (Cheshire, Conn.), who coached the Boston Cannons in their last five Major League Lacrosse seasons, including the championship season of 2020, will remain as coach of the rebranded Cannons LC for the 2021 season.
