The Catamounts enter the 2022 campaign as the defending America East champion, and the only team ranked Nike/US Lacrosse Top 20.
They’re aspiring to lofty goals again this year, and return key pieces of their 2021 roster to help get them where they want to go, with multiple All Americans returning.
The person backstopping it all is Ryan Cornell, a graduate student goalie from the lacrosse powerhouse at Darien (Conn.) High School. The lacrosse tradition at Darien, particularly for goalies, is as proud as it gets.
