There were many harsh realities suffered by all teams in the face of last spring’s lost season, some of which must now be faced head-first as high school lacrosse begins to return across the region.
One challenge? Teams having to introduce not just one new class to the game at varsity level, but two.
In Westport, Conn., a firm foundation of leadership is what the Staples High School girls are hoping will be a proper blueprint to push through such adversity and inch them closer to the program’s first-ever state title.
