Kari Buonanno is one of the most dominant lacrosse players ever to emerge from the Rhode Island high school scene. Now entering her sophomore year at Princeton, Buonanno’s considerable skills are already on full display at the Division 1 college level.
Exceptional from the beginning of her high school career at Moses Brown, Buonanno accumulated four US Lacrosse All-American honors and was also a four-time Rhode Island Player of the Year. The Providence, R.I., native led the team to an overall 63-7 record and four consecutive state championships.
In terms of numbers, Buonanno racked up a total of 431 points on 285 goals and 146 assists in high school.
