Maryland head coach John Tillman scooped up the Xaverian midfielder in early December. The reigning NCAA champions usually pack their recruiting classes with players from hotbeds like Long Island and Baltimore.
So, when they come up north to heavily pursue a specific New England talent, you can be assured that that player is the real deal.
A two-way midfielder with aggression and power, Hasselback is one of the more highly-touted members of the 2024 class. The son of former NFL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is also the brother of two current Boston College women’s lacrosse players: Annabelle and Mallory Hasselbeck.
