I had the opportunity to spend a year on the Hartwick (N.Y.) men’s lacrosse coaching staff and can personally attest to the great people, students and athletes who make up the team.
Two young men, in particular, stand out: Pete Conley and Shayne Kerrigan.
Both are graduates from Foxboro (Mass.) High School. Conley is a senior attackman and Kerrigan is a junior midfielder. Both have made impacts for Hartwick in a short period of time -- and a big part of that stems from their diverse athletic backgrounds at Foxboro.
Conley was a two-sport athlete at Foxboro High, competing in both football and lacrosse. He was also named team captain.
