The enduring image of Henry Dodge (Westport, Conn.) will always be a wry smile with a trickle of blood seeping down his face after Staples High School won the CIAC Class L championship in 2022.

Three years later Dodge is now the top face-off man for America East contender UVM. It’s not always been an easy journey, but the fruits of hard work laid in high school are now paying off for both him and the Catamounts.
After a year of understudying face-off man Tommy Burke at UVM, Dodge had his first season as a starter last spring.
