As much as she loved winning games in the MIAA Division 1 tournament, what Kierstyn Zinter really came to appreciate was the realization that would hit her after those games.
A warm one.
It meant her season was extended. She and her Central Catholic High School teammates would be getting together for at least another few days.
“You get that feeling like, ‘Yeah. I get to practice again tomorrow with all my best friends,’” said Zinter. “As a senior, you never really know when your last practice or game is going to be.”
