Bryce Adam grew up the son of a lacrosse coach.
As he enters the homestretch of his career in the sport, it’s clear the Newton North (Mass.) High School alum and Tufts University scoring star has forged a path all his own in one of Division 3’s powerhouse programs.
Adam carried both the benefits and challenges of his name when he stepped on the Newton North (Mass.) turf as a freshman to play for his father, Bussy, in one of the state’s most storied programs.
While there was little doubt that he belonged on the same fields where he’d roamed the sidelines from the time he could hold a stick, he said he felt the need to confirm he was there because of his skills with the ball — and not just because of the four letters on the back of his uniform.
