How Bentley goalie Keaton Roarick made his own name

By Nick FrazierMay 12, 2021

As a first-year starter, goalie Keaton Roarick (Old Saybrook, Conn.) enjoyed an outstanding season for Bentley. (Eddie Monigan)

When Keaton Roarick was attending Old Saybrook High School in Connecticut, there was a banner in one of the hallways highlighting the school’s All-State athletes.

A four-year starting goalkeeper there, Roarick felt pressure to get his name on that banner. His older sisters, Hudson and Riley, were All-State lacrosse players before him.

“They both had fantastic high school careers and everyone knew about it,” Roarick said. “I definitely had to pull my weight and keep the streak alive. Seeing my sisters’ name on the banner, it motivated me to get my name up there as well.”
