With one game remaining in what had been a successful season by any measure, COVID protocols at Belmont Hill School were lifted, meaning anyone who wanted to watch the team play its final game against St. Sebastian’s could attend.
Anyone? Try everyone.
“It had been so long since I played in a game that was like that,” said senior midfielder Brooks Rayment. “The school pride, everyone was out there. They knew we were having a successful season and they wanted to be a part of it.”
Belmont Hill won, 13-8, to finish its season with a 12-1 record. The fans left happy.
