Parker Polgar looked up and saw nothing but blue sky ahead.
Literally and figuratively.
He’d just completed his junior year at Portsmouth Abbey (R.I.), a three-sport standout who quarterbacked (and cornerbacked) the football team in the fall and wrestled in the winter.
But it was lacrosse that he was going to pursue in college. In his first year playing for coach Al Brown’s formidable program, he was the only freshman offensive player to make varsity. By his junior year, he was a team leader.
