On Saturday, Babson finished off its regular season with a hard-fought, 13-7 win against Coast Guard. It will be the No. 1 seed when it begins the NEWMAC tournament later tonight.
But what was the catalyst for the Beavers’ best season in recent history?
A “coach fed and player-led” mindset, along with a roster full of “anchors,” is what has the Beavers on a roll this year, according to coach Rocky Batty.
This season the Beavers have managed a 13-3 overall record, which is just another step in the right direction after finishing last year 10-4.
