The revolving door of players on a high school roster is at the front of every lacrosse coach's mind. As soon as ascending blue chip players come into their own, no sooner do they graduate and play at the next level.
It is a never-ending obstacle.
But Acton-Boxborough (Mass.) head coach Pat Ammendolia feels that his class of '23 is as ready as ever to supplant the class of '22.
"We do have some key losses," he prefaced. "But I think we returned guys at certain positions -- long poles, defensive and offensive middies. I would say we have about 18 guys returning who played regularly. There are not that many shoes to fill.
