Some things in New England never change.
Heavy mounds of blackened snow begin to wither away in the sun, faint signs of budding appear on the limbs of trees, and Medfield (Mass.) High School gears up for another long and likely eventful lacrosse season.
Over the past decade, the Warriors have won three MIAA Division 2 titles in six championship game appearances. Last year they moved to Division 3 and reached another final, losing to Norwell, 11-3. They posted an impressive 19-4 overall record.
On the backs of a solid senior class, the Warriors scored plenty, scoring 15 or more goals 16 times, all in wins.
