Matt Greer (South Windsor, Conn.) led Western New England in assists (57) and points (94) this season. (Chris Marion)
In Matt Greer’s first two years at Western New England, he played in 40 games and put up 79 points.
In 2020 and ’21, due to COVID and injuries, he played in just 15 games (with 28 points), so he returned for a fifth year and has dominated the Division 3 competition following a switch to attack.
Through the first 17 games of the season, he had 29 goals and 44 assists while helping Western New England (12-5) win the regular-season championship in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
