On Jan. 8, Vermont faceoff specialist Tommy Burke woke up at 4:45 a.m., drove an hour to the airport in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and boarded a flight to Atlanta.
He landed at 9 a.m., coached at a Faceoff Academy clinic from 12–3, went back to the airport for a flight delayed four hours, took off at 11, landed at 1, and arrived home at 2 in the morning.
