Utah has been the talk of the lacrosse community as excitement has mounted for a new western-most Division 1 program to arrive.
Seth Neeleman, who played for New Canaan (Conn.) High School, has been at the center of it all. A captain for the inaugural Div. 1 season, Neeleman admits he’s fortunate to be in the position he is because it wasn’t his original plan.
At 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, the sophomore defenseman has been a key contributor. For a squad that's 4-4 at the midway point, he has a team-leading 29 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers.
We previously caught up with Neeleman in preseason, but also for this more in-depth story from our March magazine.
